Gen 1 Waterproof double-sided easy tape

Prosthesis Man has newly developed a adhesive processing technology. After the prosthesis is specially processed (with a transparent film on the back), the waterproof double-sided tape can be used as a medium to attach the prosthesis to the skin.

📌When the prosthesis leaves the factory, it will have a reinforced transparent protective film. Please do not tear off the transparent protective film; otherwise the tab of the prosthesis will be damaged, and customers will no longer be able to use the easy tape on the prosthesis.

Note ⚠️: Waterproof double-sided tape can only be used for products that have undergone the easy tape treatment (adding the transparent film to the tab). It is recommended to use products weighing less than 250 grams and products with relatively large tab.

NOTE:

1. This service requires additional purchase. We perform special treatments on the prosthetic tab. This feature is not available for second-hand prostheses that have not been purchased for special treatment. And after processing, the transparent protective layer on the tab can only withstand repeated use of 40-60 times with waterproof double-sided tape. After the transparencies are worn out, you need to purchase Transparency film replacement set

2. Prostheses that have already used waterproof glue cannot be easily attached with this waterproof double-sided tape, so the order cannot be messed up. First use waterproof double-sided tape to attach easily. After using it to a certain extent, you can choose to purchase a transparent film replacement package from us and continue to use waterproof double-sided tape to attach it easily or choose to use the waterproof glue you purchased yourself.

4. The waterproof double-sided tape easy application process is an adhesive surface additive process independently developed by prosthesis man. Its meaning is similar to putting a protective film on the screen of your mobile phone, which is used to protect the surface and extend the use of the prosthesis. The waterproof double-sided adhesive tape is not a permanent process. It will gradually become damaged with your usage habits. Usually, when the number of uses is about 40-60 times (or when only one-third of the waterproof double-sided adhesive tape (transparent film) falls off), you need to replace it with a new one (transparent film) to continue using the waterproof double-sided tape. Use the easy-to-glue function, or choose to clean off the protective film (transparent film) and use waterproof glue for continued use. Actual data shows that the waterproof double-sided adhesive easy-to-stick process effectively extends the use time of the prosthesis and is more convenient and faster in daily pasting. However, it also has a fatal shortcoming: it cannot be exposed to hot water for a long time.

5. We recommend that our customers follow the instructions and instructional videos as much as possible when using this function, which will extend the use time of your prosthesis. If you like this feature, we recommend that you purchase a transparencies replacement package. When your transparencies become damaged and cannot be pasted (when the prosthetic tab is intact), you can use the replacement package and replace the transparencies by yourself according to our instructional videos.

## ⚠️ Instructions for use and maintenance (overseas & Hong Kong users)

1. Do not sterilize at high temperature. Only use **Glue remover (bennye cleansing oil)** or warm water within 40°C to remove.

2. Transparent film life cycle: about 60–90 uses (about 2–3 months).

3. When the tab becomes hard, whitened or cracked, it needs to be replaced.

4. After opening the new glue, please seal it with plastic wrap and store it in a cool place. **Do not expose it to the air for a long time**.

5. If you don’t know how to change it, you can follow the instructional video to do it yourself, or you can change it to the underwear method.

6. It is not recommended to hoard liquid glue

After using the Waterproof Double-Sided Tape, if you need to remove it from your implant, simply rinse the implant with warm water during your daily shower and gently separate it from your skin. The Waterproof Double-Sided Tape will gradually lose its stickiness as it soaks in warm water. You can gently separate the Waterproof Double-Sided Tape from the implant veneer while rinsing it with warm water. (Please refer to our tutorial video for details.) If there is any residual Waterproof Double-Sided Tape on the implant veneer, use an adhesive remover. Avoid forcible removal of the Waterproof Double-Sided Tape to avoid damaging your skin, implant, or veneer. If the Waterproof Double-Sided Tape is too tightly attached to the implant veneer and cannot be removed, soak it in 45°C warm water and then remove it. Alternatively, use a hair dryer to heat the Waterproof Double-Sided Tape and the implant veneer for one minute to soften them, making them easy to remove. Never tear it violently, as it will damage the veneer and the implant! If it is torn, it is considered man-made damage and has nothing to do with the quality of the implant.

Due to US customs duties, we do not ship adhesive removers. US customers are requested to purchase them locally.
