After the prosthesis is specially processed by easy tape, the easy tape patch can be attached to the tab of the prosthesis, the PU film is attached to the skin, and the easy tape patch is used as a medium to connect the two sides.

hint:1. This service requires additional purchases. We will perform special processing on the prosthetic tab. This function cannot be used for used/second-hand packers that have not purchased special processing. And after processing, the protective layer on the tab can only withstand 40-60 times repeated use of easy tape.

2. Prostheses that have been used with waterproof glue sets cannot use this Easy tape, so the order cannot be messed up. Use easy tape first. After reaching the tab's limitation, you can buy specially treated glue from us and continue to use easy tape or switch to use waterproof glue.

When the prosthesis leaves the factory, it will have a reinforced transparent protective tab. Never tear off the transparent protective tab at , otherwise the tab will be damaged and you will no longer be able to use the tape or glue on the tab.

Note⚠️: Easy tape patches can only be used for products that have added the Easy tape service when purchasing prostheses. It is recommended to use products weighing less than 250 grams and products with relatively large tab. For prostheses weighing more than 250 grams, it is recommended to use waterproof glue to make them more stable.

After you use the easy tape, if you need to remove the easy tape from the prosthesis, you only need to use warm water to rinse the prosthesis adhesive area when taking a shower every day, and gently separate it from the skin. Easy tape will gradually lose its stickiness after being soaked with warm water. You can gently separate the prosthetic tab and easy tape by rinsing with warm water in the bath. (Please refer to our instructional video for details) If there is residual easy tape on the prosthetic tab, you can use the easy tape removal wipes we provide to remove it. Do not remove the easy tape violently so as to avoid damage to the skin, prosthesis and prosthetic tab. If the easy tape stick too tight on the prosthetic tab and cannot be peeled off, you can soak it in 45°C warm water and tear it off. You can also use a hair dryer to blow the easy tape and prosthetic tab with hot air for one minute to heat it up. Once softened, it can be easily removed. Never tear it off violently, as it will tear the tab and prosthesis! Once it is torn, it is considered a man-made damage and it is not-related with the quality of the prosthesis.

Easy tape is an adhesive surface special treatment process developed by Prosthesis Man. Its meaning is similar to putting a protective film on the screen of your mobile phone. It is used to protect the surface and extend the use of the prosthesis.

Easy tape is usually used to replace the waterproof glue function in the early stage. Easy tape is not a permanent process. It will gradually be damaged with your usage habits, usually around 50 times of use or when only one-third of easy tape special processing protective film (transparent film) has fallen off, you need to replace the Easy tape processing protective film (transparent film) with a new one to continue using the Easy tape function, or choose to clean off the protective film (transparent film) and use waterproof glue to continue using it.

Actual data shows that Easy tape effectively extends the use time of the prosthesis and is more convenient and faster in daily application. However, it also has fatal shortcomings: it cannot be heated with hot water, and its waterproof and sweat-proof performance is poor.

We recommend our customers follow the instructions and instructional videos as much as possible when using this function, which will extend the use time of your prosthesis.

We recommend purchasing an Easytape transparency film replacement package if you like this function. When your Easytape protective film is damaged and cannot be pasted (when the tab of the packer is still intact), you can use the replacement package according to our instruction video to replace the Easytape processing surfaces by yourself.
